Commercial Collections Specialist
Job Summary
Brennan & Clark is looking for high-energy and ambitious self-starters to join our growing Commercial Collections team. Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility is to negotiate collections from delinquent commercial accounts over the phone and via email.
- Works from the established collector work queue to make contacts.
- Applies critical thinking skills to determine appropriate solutions while overcoming obstacles to improve call outcomes.
- Interact effectively and courteously with internal and external customers to maximize collection efforts and enhance revenue generation opportunities.
- Understand company policies and procedures and execute without issue.
- Meets phone requirements, inbound and outbound calls to debtors.
- Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics.
- Responds to all questions and inquiries using procedures that fall within established parameters.
- Identify and negotiate approved payment arrangements on past due balances within collection guidelines and laws and maintaining a strong customer relationship.
- Keep detailed records of all conversations in our database.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Receive direction from leaders.
- Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

- Must be computer literate with the ability to input and retrieve data from database systems.
- High School Diploma Required.

The starting pay is up to $20 per hour, depending on qualifications – PLUS uncapped commissions.
Experience
- Collections: 1 year (Preferred)
